Pickleball at FSHFC

Join one of the fastest growing sports in the country! Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. FSHFC offers 10 pickleball courts, which are available for members. They feature four outdoor courts, two courts in the gymnasium, and four courts in the indoor tennis facility.

Our Pickleball Pro – Josh Cook

Our new Pickleball Pro, Josh Cook, has been teaching Pro in Pickleball since 2017. To see his bio flyer, click here!

School: Dalton State College in 2011 –BBA in Marketing

Background: His background is in table tennis where he was coached from a young age. After he discovered pickleball, he realized that it was his sport.

Goals for FSHFC: Joshua’s goal is to provide a way for everyone to become better players and to have fun with the sport that he and so many others love.

Interesting Facts: He has earned medals in PB tournaments at the 5.0 level, and is a practice partner for Katie Dwyer (Professional player on the PB Tour). Josh also has an apparel brand for players called the Pickleball Lifestyle Brand.

Court Reservation

FSHFC members may organize their own groups to play on lined outdoor tennis courts #5 or #6 by calling 531-5050 up to 24 hours in advance. In addition, the reservation of the four indoor courts in the tennis bubble can also be reserved by following the same process.

Equipment Rental

Paddles and balls may be signed out at the main Front Desk free of charge.
