The Matrix MyRide VX System offers a variety of workouts that range from 20 – 58 minutes in length and there will be a virtual coach in the background/onscreen coaching you through a scenic ride, killer drills, and a variety of challenging workouts.

Members are welcome to use the Indoor Cycling Studio for their own workouts as long there is not a scheduled class/training, which are highlighted in yellow on schedule beside door (and on back).

If you are new to Indoor Cycling or have not yet taken a FTW (Functional Threshold Watt/Power) RAMP Test please contact Lori Miracle at or 865-531-5063 to schedule. The RAMP Test is a tool for Indoor Cyclist to find their Functional Threshold Wattrate, the number that you will input each time you ride, and is generally agreed is the maximal power output that can be sustained for the duration of one hour. FTW is the best single marker for fitness in cycling. If you would like to attempt this test yourself you will find instructions for doing so on counter just inside studio.

Most people recognize that massage helps with overall wellness and is an important component to a healthy lifestyle. HydroMassage water massage benefits include:

Provides temporary relief of minor aches and pains
Reduces level of stress and anxiety
Deep relaxation provides feeling of well-being
Increases circulation in local areas where massaged
Relieves muscle soreness, stiffness, and tension
With an array of options users can choose the right experience for their massage.

Most commonly, water massage is enjoyed post-workout as a cool-down prior to leaving FSHFC or before a workout to loosen tight muscles. Members and clients also visit The Day Spa to relax with a massage before or after other spa services.

However, some clients also visit The Day Spa after work or while running errands just to use our water massage beds.

RENEW Small Group Training consists of both conditioning and strength training in a 30 minute low impact circuit workout. The groups usually consist of 3-5 people. This allows the Personal Trainer to focus on each person, and coach proper exercise technique to maximize benefit, while minimizing injury risk. The benefit of strength training compared to steady state cardio is improved body composition (increased fat loss and muscle gain) which helps to speed up resting metabolic rate. In turn, this helps to burn more calories throughout the day and more easily reach a caloric deficit.

Whether you’re interested in losing, maintaining, gaining, or shifting your body composition, the RENEW Program has you covered. Boasting twelve (12) 30-minute small group training sessions per month with a personal trainer to keep you motivated and engaged, and a monthly Wellness coaching session to implement strategies to make your time inside and outside of the gym work for you, you’re sure to achieve your goals. This program is member focused, evidence based, and results driven.
